The machine classes presented so far are manufactured in series. Machine configurations for special tasks are derived from this programme. Using series components, special machines (Fig. 50) are created that are suitable for special features, such as the rapid measurement of hobs, the measurement of ballscrew spindles with a length of over 6 metres or the measurement of power station turbine blades.
